Charming atmosphere with friendly staff. The Wi-Fi was unreliable, making it tough to connect. Great location for walking tours.

I had a positive experience during my stay at Royal Goat. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, allowing for a restful sleep. The breakfast was a highlight, featuring locally sourced ingredients and expertly cooked dishes. The staff were attentive and accommodating, ensuring that all my needs were met efficiently during my work trip.

The hotel's decor is somewhat outdated, and certain areas appear to need maintenance.

the royal goat hotel was a great stay. our room was massive and the king bed was super comfy. breakfast was delish with lots of options, even sausages for our dog! location is perfect for exploring snowdonia with stunning views all around. staff were really friendly and helpful.

however, the hotel bar shuts way too early at 8:30 pm, and we had trouble with the wi-fi signal not being reliable at all.

Great base for Snowdon adventures!

We spent 2 nights here and the location is perfect for exploring Snowdonia. The room was chill and had a fab view of the village. Breakfast was decent, but it could use more options instead of the same ol' full English every day. The bar was handy too, especially after a long hike.

Had a great group trip! Enjoyed leisurely walks along the stunning coastline, and our hikes to different fishing spots were lovely. The breakfast was spot on, and the staff went above and beyond to help us. Clean rooms and a cozy atmosphere made our stay super enjoyable!

The tiny TV in our room made it a bit difficult to unwind in the evenings after long days out.

We had a cozy stay here with surprisingly comfy beds and a lovely breakfast that hit the spot. The sun terrace was a great touch for relaxing with a book, and we enjoyed unwinding in the garden area after our day's adventures. The shower space felt a bit cramped, but it didn't ruin our good time at all! 😊

Our two-night stay featured a beautiful view from the small twin room. The local area is charming, perfect for exploring Snowdonia. I particularly enjoyed a warm dinner at the onsite restaurant, where the dishes were delightful. Future guests should check room conditions upon arrival.

The room offered a lovely ambiance with a clean and modern touch, featuring a really comfortable bed. I appreciated the large bathroom and the generous breakfast selection that included a delicious cooked Welsh breakfast.

Perfect for couples seeking some charm

Had a fantastic time with my partner we stumbled upon a lovely little restaurant nearby where they served amazing local dishes. One night, we even got a personalized greeting from the chef who also asked us about our climbing plans, felt special.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but you know what, given the experience it was still acceptable.

stayed at royal goat for one night and loved the location! it was close to everything. the breakfast was great, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. plus, there are plenty of comfy chairs outside to relax in. what a nice place!

The room was large and clean, with a super comfy bed and great mountain views from both windows. Enjoyed the well-stocked hospitality tray too, especially the extra milk pots! The only downside was the outdated decor—it could use a refresh.
